Dr.
Chris Hensman, who is a fellow
of Royal Australian College of Surgeons
received his surgical training in
Australia as well as in the UK. Dr.
Hensman became responsible for setting up
the first hands-on course to teach
surgeons in the UK the technique of ETS.
He returned to Australia in 1997 and
became a Director and Lecturer at the
University Department of Surgery, Monash
Medical Centre, Melbourne. He has been
featured on National Television and
medical magazines highlighting new
treatment methods. Guest

World Congress New York March 2002:
Chris Hensman was recently an invited
Guest Lecturer / instructor at the World
Congress of Endoscopic Surgery in New
York. The World congress is host to
the largest body of Surgeons with a major
interest in Laparoscopic (keyhole)
surgery within and outside the US.
He was an instructor at a workshop to
teach surgeons a novel way of harvesting
kidneys for transplantation using the key
hole or Laparoscopic approach.
